This game should come with a free prescription for blood pressure pills. As soon as that Rush Hour music starts, my normally healthy blood pressure shoots through the roof. Why do I do this to myself?

It's definitely better on PC over Steam Deck though - although the controls function as intended and there were no crashes on Steam Deck, it's just significantly easier on a keyboard. I get why they toned the achievement difficulty down when porting to console, to account for the controller use.

If you like time management games, you'll love this!

At first I was a bit hesitant to enjoy this one after playing it right after beating CSD 1. This game is quite different- there are a MASSIVE amount of dishes and a new mechanic called C4H (cook for hire) which is basically where you get a preset menu and you play out different days at a themed chain (ex: all desserts). This took out some of the "restaurant management" feeling elements of CSD 1 which I ended up missing. Overall though, I loved working through the C4H shifts after some getting used to it. The other huge difference which is more controversial are the holding stations at the top of the screen. This is where you pre-prepare foods as sides or dishes. These holding stations were really tough to get used to and were definitely my biggest growing pain. I'm a pretty fast typist and I've 100% both games but I really struggled to keep up solo on some levels to the point where I had to co-op with a buddy. (Not saying they are impossible, just warning you it will be a heavy grind- you will have to full memorize)

All in all, very different but very fun! Excited to see what CSD 3 has in store for me next! :)

I loved the first one - but the enhancements on CSD2 are really fun! This is my first time playing with the keyboard vs controller - and I have found it to be super satisfying as well. Def recommend if you like any kind of time management style games.
