STILL no sound

Months ago, I forget when, I was really enjoying CSD2. Then one day the sound stopped working. This was a dealbreaker for me and shortly thereafter I uninstalled.

I just reinstalled hoping It would be working - and it did!
...for all of 5 seconds.

When I tried to switch the audio output to my TV in my computer's settings (which i can do with other programs open no problem) the audio stopped working and I can't get it back.

Attempted Soulutions:

uninstalling and reinstalling the game

restarting my laptop

cleaning my cache

Those are all the possible solutions I could find online and none of them have worked. I'm running Win 10.
If you need any more info let me know but I'm not a computer person so you'll have to tell me how to find out what it is you want.

Hmm, I'm wondering if the audio for just the game is muted? Start up the game, then right click on the speaker icon in the lower right of your desktop's application tray and select Volume Mixer. See if Cook, Serve, Delicious is muted or the slider is very low and raise it up to the proper volume.

Should have said so, but I had already checked that as I make that mistake a lot. That's definitely not the issue.
