[Error] [W10] Error on launch. DirectDraw does not have enough display memory to perform the operation.
Game is blank white screen on launch with error:
"win 32 function failed: hresult: 0x8876017c call: at line 2136 in file \graphics_displaym.cpp"

This seems to infer that my system doesn't have enough Video Memory.

Which I would hope isn't the case.
As I have 4GB of dedicated video memory (GDDR5) and I would think that would be enough.

For it to launch at all. I need to put the resolution of the ultrawide monitor down to 800x600 which lauches the game in a tiny window that if I resize it via the in-game resolution options it will crash with this exact same error.

I just managed to play the game by making the game window the active window and clicking 'Ok' on the error dialog box.

No luck a second time though :(

I've been having the *exact* same issue and just came here to post about it. The only solution I've found is to run it with the integrated graphics card instead of the NVIDIA card, give that a go? This has also worked for a couple of other games (Gwent, Donut County) that have recently failed to launch. My graphics card is similar too (GeForce GTX 950M).
