Campaign/Story Mode like in CSD 1?
The campaign mode in CSD 1 with the new stations, food etc. you could buy, building a menu and so on, was the main thing I liked in the first game and why I kept playing and playing it. Will there ever be something similiar in CSD 2?
I really miss this feature.

Yeah I hope it's possible to add something like the campaign in CSD 1. It's the only thing which I would like to see added because I love all the other features.

Yeah I was kind of disappointed that the series seems to have moved more towards a 'freedom of choice, create your own fun' rather than a progression based 'build your own restaurant and unlock things' type game. I like the graphics and all the new recipes, but I kind of feel like I prefer the campaign from CSD 1...

I really enjoyed having to save up and unlock all the upgrades and watching my restaurant evolve automatically as I went. As well as being invited to events and catering and challenges etc. In CSD 2 I constantly have this feeling like a screen is missing where I should be able to see how my restaurant is doing, or on the CSD page I want to see the info on my food and I can't see everything or get more detail.

Another thing I really missed was the emails where you would place bets on how good you could do, tickets for that competitive cooking thing, ect.

Honestly I much prefer the first game, but the second is still really good just not nearly as good.

Thats the biggest problem with this game, they didn't add that element from the first game to this one. They made this game pretty much one big sandbox with no meaningful choices to make. Who doesn't like to work from the bottom and slowly progress to bigger and better things? There is no sense of acomplishment at all. They took the bonus objectives and email objectives out of the game so now there's really no incentive to change up my menu. Some sort of progression would of been nice, like having to unlock most things as you level, or paying for decor, actually making money valuble in this game. They have most of the foods unlocked off the bat, so it's basically whatever you feel like buying. Money was a little harder to come by in the first one, so the catering events felt meaningful. With this one they just give you a ton of challenges off the bat and you can do them whenever u like, which isn't bad, but I don't feel like I need to do them other than to challange myself.

The game is still fun to play, and the gameplay is more challenging than the first one, but it's a shame they took the immersion out of this one. If they ever did another update I hope its some sort of Campaign mode.
