Saves Location

Here is the defaul saves location.
World files are folder universe_x
User file is userdata.bin

World files, and if steam cloud is not enabled, user file are located in:
C:\Users\[YOUR PROFIL]\AppData\Roaming\PlanetCentauri\
or
%appdata%/PlanetCentauri

Steam cloud

User file if steam cloud is enabled, you need to find your steam folder installation, and then:
steam\userdata\67632037\385380\remote\

If you don't find the folder 67632037, try to do a windows search of the folder 385380.
It's the folder of the game saves on steam.

Mac / Linux

The saves are by default on the game installation folder.
You can find the game folder by following these steps:
1. On steam, right click on the game Planet Centauri
2. Select "Properties"
3. Tab "Local Files"
4. Click on "Browse local files..."

Send me your save

If you have a corrupted character file (cause crash) or a problem with your world, send me your file, zipped, on discord or with any host.

Important: userdata.bin is the character save file, if you need to send me a world, it's a folder universe_x and not userdata.bin.

If your steam cloud is enabled your 67632037 folder might be a diffrent number but there should still be a file inside called 385380 so just look for that

You have an option when you right click a file/folder.

Thank you for the save, it's not a problem of your character but a bug in the spell engine.
It's easy to fix so I will upload the new fixed version soon.

I used save and quit. I had been getting an error something like game has not closed correctly, a new world works fine with the save and quit.

Hi, i lost my steam cloud save. My character is out of nowhere. I lost the archives of my corrupted save, but I moved on because the character had almost everything, I could recover the damage. I love the game so much, but I have so many problems with save
