On my MacBook Pro it's started full screen but only with 1/4 visible part, please fix!

Hi I am running the latest steam beta client on macos 12.1 with a xbox wireless controller with latest firmware. It only happens in Raging Justice but in the menus the controller seems to randomly move and I cannot play in single player mode as a second or even third human controlled player gets automatically selected so the game is unplayable as these characters don’t move. Any suggestions please?...
