Where's my turtle?....

...I never got a turtle as shown in one of the trailers? I've finished the game, so did I miss something?

I was hoping to have a trusty turtle campanion to share my walks around the park, like Dogmeat in fallout....albeit a little slooooweeerrr :)

Huh...
You can actually get him much earlier than that.
Like day 1, after you yell at the teens in the lake I'm fairly certain.
I followed the shore of that around to the right and up as far as I could and he was there for me.

Guess he can be in multiple spots depending on what point you are at in the game?

I got Turt Reynolds near the cache that is just below the cut communications wire on Day 2. He was on a rock in the middle of the small clearing where the cache is.

You can get him even earlier than that :D
Day 1, right when you get out of your tower, just follow the east trail you took the night before. Once you reach a dead end, you got your turtle.
