Is this any good?

I think i was going to play this game in 2020 but i picked up the wrong game Outer Wilds and ended up with space explorations instead (one of my favourite games ever now btw)

Outer wilds is still on my wishlist. Oh if only I had the time for these all. Some people hate Firewatch because the end of the game comes suddenly, but mostly because Campo Santo have not published other games or maintained it and so some "accomplishment" unlock bugs piss them off. Play it for the story, the sudden end to me felt far more like a classic literary device than as a sloppy end. Life is not simple.

I think Firewatch is an excellent game; lots of other folks do too. I should warn you that it may not be the kind of game you think — a lot of people expect it to be some kind of supernatural horror, and it isn't. It's fundamentally a story about internal demons, not any kind of external monster.

Just so. Real life doesn't often hand us a neatly-wrapped Hollywood ending where everything will be perfect forever.

Wait its horror?? I thought you just watch fires and gotta prevent the forest

LOL, nope, it's not about saving the forest, it's actually a love story. With some alchohol, trash talking, vandalism, some park keeper stuff and some fairly decent scenery put in there just to throw you off.

It's an amazing experience, I dont know what else to say. Might not be your cup of tea, but trying wouldnt hurt since it's a pretty short game anyways
