Empyrion - Galactic Survival

I lost my ship!
So, i did my first Small vessel and went to a asteroid for mining.
While mining my game frozed, i hit Ctrl Alt Del and finished the game manualy via Task Manager.

When i got back my ship was gone, but all my mining was in my inventory, so basically i lost all my ship and the stuff inside of it, it wasnt in the minimap (btw).

I got back to the planet (don't know how i survived :D) and my ship wasnt in the planet either.

So thats a commum bug? It happens alot or just sometimes? I'm afraid of going to space again and get out of my ship.

Also i have some questions:

1- The Clone chamber is the respawn right? How do i chose the clone chamber to spaw? I have to click something?

Well, thats all. Thank you very much!

The game used to crash often, I would say once a day, but it is getting more stable, never lost a ship personally, though it never crashed while I was in open space out of an SV, it crashed while I was on board a CV.

1- You chose after dying, the game offers you the choice to respawn where you died, on your home base (if you set one), or in one of your clone chambers.

Your ship was possibly still out there, somewhere. It will usually show up on your map, but, if it didn't, I'm just not sure. My computer is elderly, so, before the recent updates, I crashed often, regularly, actually, especially when exiting atomosphere. However, my ship was almost always waiting for me, sometimes a good way off, and I just had to use my jetpack to get to it. Unless my game corrupted from the crash (which used to be VERY often) I have always been able to recover my ships.

The newest updates have reduced my crashes dramatically, thank all the gods, and, so far, I've had no trouble in space. I surely hope you're able to recover from this and give the game another chance. Using the backup feature will give you some peace of mind, though, you may wind up losing a few hours work.

To choose your 'home' location, inside the Control Panel of either your base or Capital Vessel, or whereever you choose, check the box at the bottom right that says HOME. That will set you.

Good Luck!

Did this happen in SP or MP?

Thank you for the answears about the respawn guys. I'm playing this for 30 hours still didnt died :D

It happend on Single player.

Well i think its gone for sure, because the SV actually appears in the mini-map right?
And after the crash i couldnt see it anymore.

I searched a little bit among the asteroids but didn't found it.

In space ships are shown on the map, yes.

0) Hope you renamed your ship. ALWAYS NAME your ships. makes step #2 easier.
1) Open the cheat console with ( ` ) [key to the left of ( 1 )]
2) Type find ''
----- that is two single quotes ( ' )
3) Locate your ship in the list, and write down its ID
4) type di
5) point at where you want the ship wth the cursor and in the black popup box, note the location (x,y,z).
6) Type setposition {id} x,y,z
---- where x,y,z are the cooridinates from #4

if its still out there, you have it back.

p.s. type help find or help setposition if you run into trouble withthe syntax
