No prometheum on akua in 1.8?

WTF. We literally searched the entire planet and there are no nodes or rocks to get prometheum anywhere.

No trader to trade with and quests are broken.

How did Eleon release this build of the game?

You can use bio fuel as a substitute. If its not on the starter planet that means they want you to go look for it somewhere else.

And you're 100% sure? You checked the "alien" zones too? Because that's where I found promethium prior to 1.8, it wasn't common.

I found promethium under water on Akua. The 1.8 made changes to what is in all water areas. You can find promethium and pentaxid along with other normal ores and seaweed/rare plants used for meds.

This did not work for me. I was in my HV, pressed the auto fill button, did not work. Pressed the manage button and dropped the bio fuel there and it did not work either. Was playing coop.

Is there something special you need to do to get the bio fuel to work?

Use empty hand and you don't sink, and you can also ascend and descent with jump and crouch respectively.

And have an HV with a turret underneath it/two sideways turrets on either side set to target predators, parked above wherever you are swimming. Last I checked minigun turrets still target stuff underwater.

Put bio in take out fuel packs

Just get enough bio fuel to get into orbit, find a promethium asteroid and mine it. Watch out for enemy drones.

Hum I have no problem maneuvering in the water. There has always been rare plants and resources underwater along with some good wreckages.

Yep. That's how hoverbikes are still a thing. People get access to those well before promethium.

Again, I just manually drag and dropped biofuel in. It didn't fill it much, but it went in. "Fill all" doesn't work with biofuel though.

If I had to guess, I'd say to prevent players from dumping in bio-fuel that was in their inventory at the same time as promethium packs? Unlike promethium packs it has a few other applications so...

If I had to guess it's that the useless devs of this game forgot to program it and then *released* the content into their *released* game once again without any internal testing.

You can stay on the beach and use your personal drone with F5, this will not consume you any oxygen and you should reach these stones to harvest. It will take some time though, you better soon leave the planet to get Promethium, alas, the only other moon in the vicinity (which you can reach without SV) has a radiation of 5, so you must resolve that at first. EGS is called Survival game for a reason :)
