If temp fluctuating, then base not sealed.
Concrete is airtight. If you dig out a cave and want to leave it natural looking, just the bedrock stone, that's not.
Temperature is only controlled by the structure being sealed and powered.
Oxygen does nothing except provide oxygen for players and plants.
A sealed unpowered structure protects you from outside radiation. A sealed and powered structure protects you from outside radiation and temperature.
Same as above. Unpowered has only ever protected you from radiation. It has always needed power to protect you from temperature.
^^^ This. In A12, the stair blocks are no longer air tight.
OP: You need power as others have pointed out. On a snow planet solar is probably not going to power your base reliably. Drop in a generator and fuel tank and turn off equipment you don't need running 24/7.
