Well it was planned to end some time ago when they talked about it in 2014, LOL, but then it got popular and sales got steady and an Mc HUGE amount of new features were planned and surveyed and added, SO, that basically changed everythang !

Now were looking at a few extra years, Consider Elite Dangerous for one minute, some call it vapourware sure, but the scope, and dreams the dev has for that game are huge, and to build something like that with a 1 or 2 or 3 man team will take over 10 years, as we can see that happening in ED but its still around and making enough money to stay in production, its a sweet looking game at face value, I havent played it to know if its actually any good, but the point Im making is, good games with real vision take alot of time to make, this genre, this type of game I expect 8 to 10 years full cycle, then very small updates, performance related for a while after that.

Eleon is a 6 man team, a small team, dedicated team, a team that hasnt started any other games or projects and are focused on there first PC title release.

My guess is another 2 to 3 years just in alpha, thats my personal guess not the word of Eleon.
Unless sales slump.

AAA companies still working on there space game 10 years later and la de da ..... still no release in sight.....

Expects a dozen humans to finish Empyrion in a few months !

Nice to see Eleon putting on new staff though,thats a good sign, maybe people love the new logistic system !

Please use full names. I don't know which games you mean based on abbreviated names like that. SC in my mind still means Starcraft.

I think RS is a MMG with RKG but E has BA and ILTPMD.

Another 2-3 roughly. Pretty good for a small studio with less than 20 people total working on it, given the amount of time since the first alpha.
