Got tired of losing my bike underwater
If you can't stop before entering water bike will fly down leaving you on shore. i've lost 3 bikes in 1 evening. It's almost impossible to find it in the underwater bushes. Is there a possibility to lower bushes height or add map marker to bike ? (lowering grass density option doesn't work for underwater flora)

Maybe go slower? Especially when approaching the crest of a hill. I know ramping off them is fun and all, but you're much more likely to crash into something (like a lake you didn't see) doing that.

I did that several times, and started paying attention to where I was going.:steamhappy:

Isn`t there a mp marker for your bike?

No

Even if there was a map marker for the bike they can really blend in while underwater in the bushes.. few times i have used godmode to ghost under the terrain and look for a wheel sticking through, but beyond that if it hits underwater bushes it is pretty much gone for good, barring dumb luck stumbling into it of course. Sadly it's not like at the point where we have motorcycles we also have a suit, so recovering them by stumbling blindly through seaweed isn't much of an option.

A setting for shorter (or just more sparse) underwater bushes would help a bit. Might want to post that under the suggestion subforum though.

I have figured out to make a suit very early on. I think, the second tier constructor will make armor locker and initial first constructor makes a suit? I start new games a lot. I usually, nowadays, bypass bikes and HV`s altogether, and go straight to the prerfab SV. Forget which one. White, bullet shaped one tier 1 maybe 2? It runs, guns, has refer and storage, and relatively cheap to fuel.

Learn to back off of the throttle sooner, before you crest that next hill.

I prefer spending a few extra minutes mining some more materials to just make a level 1 hover vehicle instead. That bike is more annoying than useful in my opinion.

There's a number of level 1 mini-hover vehicles on the workshop intended to replace the bike if you don't want to spend training points unlocking the parts yourself.

I will say, some prefab hv``s are Real, fast lol.

This. Any 'hoverbike' blueprints. Generally they are all faster and much easier to control.

I second this. One of the first things I do is trash the bike and build a level 1 HV.

If it was a scenario you could shrink the underwater weed easy.

Being the default game, I cant see the devs shrinking the under water weeds.

Open your map, click on the bike and set a way point.
When you close map, it should light up yellow, be easy to find.
Though Im not 100% sure it shows on map in this version, try that first and Im sure someone will correct me if its wrong !
