Collecting all the cards...

So in the School Chapter, I collected all 60 of both card types. I unlocked these Card Effects that seem to have no immediate effect. What did they do? I've looked at my character in thirdperson and see no impact.

Well I only unlocked the orange one's, so I don't know about others, but that one adds a silly sparkly yellow fluttering effect around your feet when you have it equipped in the customisation menu.

I was kind of hoping for some kind of collectible card game, so players would be able to sit together at a table in the school and play each other.
Since we are playing at being kids in school or with dad on take the kids to work day or whatever, sitting down and playing a card game sounds like something kids would be doing back in the mid-90's.

Maybe they will do something like this with it later on.You never know with Klei, they are pretty good at fleshing out their games and making them into more than they appear.

The cards unlock a trail that drags behind you when you move. Its kinda hard to see because you can't use the 3rd person camera while moving, but its there
