Greedy Pass
Auric cells only on premium side, only adds up to 1000 (exactly enough for a new pass), first half is in 25s and last in 50s with the very last being at 69/70.

Most passes allow you to save a little extra on top to eventually buy something if you save long enough, and this is in a full priced game with (plenty of) full price DLC.

BHVR... come on man...

This is nothing knew, they've implemented this mobile game 'season pass' framework for a while now, not to mention just how BRUTAL the grind to actually get all of the rewards is. Basically requires you to no-life the game. BHVR gonna be BHVR lol

I'm not gonna call it "Greedy Pass" cause being greedy is not the only problem in their battle pass, it's literally the worst Battle Pass i ever saw in a video game.

Cosmetics are just a bunch of recolors and around 3 only new, the charms are the most useless thing in this game and it take so much place in the pass. Can you believe that even charms they color them and put them again?

Last Rift that was about Kate there were literally 5 colors of a filthy ugly box shaped charm with just a music note symbol inside it, and another 5 huntress shaped charm with different colors, this is just horrible and beyond lazy!!
Not to mention the grind that is sometime almost impossible due to the long queue and the amount of bugs that prevent certain challenges for getting complete.

My advice, never spend a penny on this Pass and just play normal, until you get your cells back then buy it, believe even if you didn't finish you won't miss much, at the end you will find it in the store later on.

yeah they should really cut off some of the grind in general, the only reason i even completed the pass is because of the pandemic, otherwise it would have been impossible to get to tier 70.

Sorry but when you consider that Auric Cells are effectively money, it's really impractical to give away more than you put in...and that's a purely personal business perspective.

You already get a load of cosmetics from the Rift cheaper than you would if you purchased them when they become available in the Store, and it effectively costs you nothing because you get your 1k Auric Cells back for completion of the Rift.

according to this

A) gamers play 1 hour of video games per day
b) 1 hour per day is enough to complete the battlepass.

This video was made pre-covid 19 , granted. But here we are in 2020, and we sure as heck aren't playing only 1 hour a day and completing the battlepass .

I play this game roughly about 20 hours per week. If it wasn't for them extending the battlepass by an additional week and me dumping about $50 in it, I'd still be stuck at level 20. None of the cosmetics in these battlepasses are remotely worth even the price of the battlepass. It's nothing but silly charms and bad costumes. The costumes for the first 2 battlepasses were ok and every once and a while they do have good ones..but the last two battlepasses have not been that great.

They really need to get a new creative director, this guy they have in control doesn't know what he is doing or talking about.

I would be ok with 0 auric cells if it had less charms and more cosmetic, also less grindy.
As it is, you basically pay a subscription to play the game non-stop. That's dumb.

It's not "money", let's start with that. I hate games using "gems" "cells" "coins" to trick you into having pixels you can pretend are money but it's money they already now have and you cannot cash out.
Also as said, many MANY other passes give a little bit more back as a reward for doing the full pass, and are WAY less ridiculous on the grind that DbD's are. Plus again it's a full price game with full price DLC.

From a business perspective in terms of public image; it's greedy.

Imagine being so entitled you think a cosmetic only battle pass is being greedy... like really, the game has no P2W elements and you can unlock all but licensed stuff with in game currency, but noooooooooooooo the battle pass is greedy because they don't give me back more money than I put into it...

Every business major in here is cringing at this thread right now lol.
