Impossible to play vs nerds/trolls

Game sucks balls. I wasted 25 bucks and 9 hours of my life to get trolled by some few-hundreds-hours-no-lifers.

I can't learn maps cuz i die in 2 min as survivor every time. I can't learn killers, cuz damn nerds making joke of me and thinks they are good at the game.

Wasted time and money, don't get fooled by local forum frogs who will say that game is harsh for newbies and will get better. It won't, there's nothing to do. I wonder how it's still popular.

Friday the 13th has gamemodes with bots, better graphics and optimization, but got destroyed by hackers and lawsuit. Dbd only makes you mad for your money and time and offers nothing.

If you don't see anything that's really interesting for (special killer, or you like graphics, or you like genre) you and you wanna get this game cuz it has lots of positive reviews for not that cheap price (so you think you'll get better quality) — think twice or better don't go for it.

Definitely negative review from me.

Giving up after only 9 hours?

Maybe avoid PVP games that have been out for YEARS. Any PVP game that has been out this long is going to be rough on a new player.

Once you learn what you're doing survivor gameplay is extremely easy, immersive and entertaining.


Do you really expect to be able to compete after such a short amount of time? In a game that has been out this long? In a game that has a million guides on how to properly play it.

Look up guides, learn how to identify and run tiles as a survivor. Play killer and get stomped by good survivors, try to mimic what they do ect.

This game has a steep learning curve, and atm the new MMR they put into place is bugging, making the difference in ranks more extreme then ever.

You do need more time to learn the game, but it doesn't get much better. With more time you can learn to loop, or how to play killer better, but it really won't do you much tbh. Solo survivor is a joke, even if you can loop well because most of the time you get clueless teammates. For killer getting better only helps until you face good SWF teams. Then you will get stomped on if you aren't playing a meta killer, which is only like 3 or 4 killers in all honesty.

So yeah. Have fun and good luck with the other games you will play.

Match making is broken at the moment. It puts new players with veterans right now.
This is something from the past week.
It may get fixed it may not. Its definetely rough out there for new players now.

Mmr system is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now so it's normal you can't have normal games and ofc you can't learn the game dbd is not a new player friendly game

yea the new mmr system isn't helping but theres literally tons of guides and videos on the game and the fact you're not even remotely looking into any of them when going into a pvp game thats been out for 4 years is your own fault

you will get better the more you play, try to watch others gameplay and you eventually will learn something from them.. and yeah if you want to play killer right now it is the worst possible time the matchmaking will pair you with high rank
survivor is easier to learn for now. play stealth first and then learn to loop, try to not explode the gens, learn from the others, don't try to unhook yourself wait for your team mate, get a good team mate

My fault? Look at CS:GO or LoL, you play and every hour you get better, you learn something new. Rocket League, Contagion, Mount and Blade, DST, Guns of Icarus etc. Why that games don't make mad? Different genres, difficult, with old playerbase, but nope, i'm fine with that.

You know that you put so much effort into nothing (Dbd), but your ego doesn't let you admit it and the only way to get satisfaction from game is to be mean on forum or troll in game. You don't point on any game's advantages, you just try to offend me, cuz when i call this game waste of time, you try hard to prove that it's not a waste for you, but i don't see any proofs except "your fault". Not my fault if your ego is big as problems of this game.

Its not impossible at all, you just need to swallow your pride and take the losses. In time you will learn and get better. Playing against weak opponents teaches nothing.

Man i first escape the trial at 300hrs and killer /survivor rank 1 at 1700hrs still 1k hrs in this game is nothing and u with 9 hrs give up?

I started late last month and im rank 4 atm (pretty sure its as low as ill get) I mainly play Survivor and solo que so i do feel your pain when it comes to just starting. Your teammates don't define the XP you receive (unless they farm you) and make sure you don't gen rush because thats what the killers looking for right off the bat. Just do gens and play hide and seek and don't leave scratch marks <3 This games amazing once you figure it out <3 Don't give up!
