try adding this to the launch options
With that said, I donwgraded my Doom version, because I need this mod.
Here, to quote them:
Edited: also recommend to make backup of files you plan to replace.
Step 1: Uninstall the game, then reinstall it;
Step 2: delete the DOOM folder in C drive, which should be located in "C:\Users\user name\Saved Games\id Software";
Step 3: restart Steam, and restart the Ethernet in Control Panel.
The above-mentioned steps work for me.
About the mod installation, if you are using the DOOMModLoader, please download a debug version here: https://github.com/jfmherokiller/DOOMExtract. This one works perfectly for me, there is no a single conflict on my computer.
