Same problem, after update game won't launch.

Oh, sorry - then I don't know. I was just having same issue, but it was due to Legacy Mod installed.
With that said, I donwgraded my Doom version, because I need this mod.

Got help from community member.
Here, to quote them:

this is what i did
- winkey + R, then enter steam://nav/console
- entered this into the steam console: download_depot 379720 379721 2206249600939156631
- once it's done, i went to Steam\SteamApps\content\app_379720\depot_379721 and copied everything into my game's install

Edited: also recommend to make backup of files you plan to replace.

OK, based on the replies, I'm gonna share my solution case.
Step 1: Uninstall the game, then reinstall it;
Step 2: delete the DOOM folder in C drive, which should be located in "C:\Users\user name\Saved Games\id Software";
Step 3: restart Steam, and restart the Ethernet in Control Panel.
The above-mentioned steps work for me.

About the mod installation, if you are using the DOOMModLoader, please download a debug version here: https://github.com/jfmherokiller/DOOMExtract. This one works perfectly for me, there is no a single conflict on my computer.

I tried to play today and this happened, I added a dinput8.dll file to play the game with the mexican dub, i tried every recomendation made here, nothing worked, so i made one last thing, deleting that file, that fix it.
