Everyone knows Morgan Freeman is God
Honestly, I was just trolling whenever I posted and enjoy both games and think the whole debate of which is better is stupid. Shut up and play the game.
I have only limited knowledge about Halo. I only played Halo 1 on PC. And read one and half novels. And very much liked the Halo: Nightfall movie version. It's criminal that they didn't get a block buster funding. But seems it was meant to be a TV series to begin with.
Anyways, what I do know, is that Spartans are augmented. I never haven seen them to actually rip and tear through their enemies, though. Which makes me think that they don't, because they can't. If the doom slayer ever got close to one of them, they would probably die. In Doom Eternal the doom slayer crashes through a wall while shooting himself with a railgun like cannon into that wall. Sounds like a Spartan wouldn't survive that either.
And before anybody says that Doom is more fantasy then science fiction. Yes, and no to that. It's more fantasy appearing because of the simple story telling that also got a different focus. But, if I were the writer, argent energy would the fuel of incorporeal cybernetic systems. Which should make it clear why the Doom Slayer is superior to the augmentation of a Spartan. And why it can be used as an energy source to produce electricity. Obviously demons are genetically engineered.
Until someone shows empirical evidence to suggest they are the same, I will not assume as such.
And to answer the OP, DOOM slayer would curb stomp MC easily. I mean, he can literally rip demons and people limb from limb with his bare hands, can move faster than almost anyone in most FPS shooters omnidirectionally, and of course his arsonel is nothing to scoff at.
You are literally told your Mjolnir MKV is ♥♥♥♥ in Halo CE by 343 Guilty Spark, Chief's strengths are not in his armor but in the fact he is just le overpowered space marine. Doomguy and Masterchief are literally just vehicles for the player and not their own thing.
And comparing the chief and the doom slayer on a gameplay level instead on a more realistic science fiction level. I doubt that a console game can keep up with Doom. Because it can't. Even the new PC version may be just a slow poke console game. You can not turn a console game into a PC game just by giving mouse and keyboard support. You may need to change the actual gameplay as well. Last time I checked, Halo is one of the crappy FPS games that don't even seem to do ledge climb. And they are balanced speed wise for gamepads, not mouse and keyboard in the first place.
Its Doomguy you Zoomer.
