Can't Complete Pestilence

So I've talked to all the people of Mehojed, went the the alchemist (I can't remember his name), found out the plague was poisoned water, and made the antidote.

Now the alchemist is just sitting next to straw's wife and I ask him how things are going with the sickness. He say's his piece then asks me if I have the cure, which I do, and Henry say's "No, not yet".

Anyone else have this issue?

do you have item in your inventory? In my scenario i said him ill brew cure and he went into village, once i was done i followed ( waited speak to him pop while on the road ) and he told me to distribute cure.

Yeah, I have the Antidote in my inventory. It even say's in the Quest log that I made the potion and I now have to talk to him

In my game I had to go take a will to a priest make the potion .
Do you have Main Quest “Questions and Answers“ active?
There are 5 sick you need to give the cure to!
better o show a guide so you can check what you missed.
Once ou have given the potion to 5 people the games will say something like wait a few days. I just time waited 2 days.

well it seems his problem that he cant advance to the part where he actually needs to distribute cure, because Nicodimus doesnt speak to him or rather he doesnt have option in dialogue that hes done cure.

Hm, perhaps you were too fast and the part where he arrives to village and starts taking care didnt pop?

Try to re-brew it maybe idk.

He is currently in the village helping Straw's wife. I can talk to him, but Henry tell him that I don't have the cure. I also have in the quest log that I need to talk to Nicodimus. I also killed straw before hand, could this have anything to do with it?

I'll try to go back a save or two and rebrew.

You need to create Merhojed cure and have it in your inventory. Not just regular Antidote

But the quest log was saying that I made the right thing? At any rate, I "fixed it" via letting almost everyone die then killing the remaining population because I got another bug where the bandit was buried under a pile of logs (according to the marker)

From what you are saying you have bought "antidote" from an apothecary/herb woman etc. That's not the one you need. You need to go to the monastery in Sasau, speak to Brother Nicodemus and brew a potion called "Merhojed Remedy"

It says specifically 'Merhojed Remedy', not Antidote (which you can buy anywhere). You have to distribute it throughout the village - there are 5 places if I recall. After that you have to wait for the stuff to take effect and then talk to Melichor (the town bailiff who's holding the prisoner')

I just today found a way to bypass all this. I had the 'Pestilence' quest available for the longest time but I ignored it. Well, while I dithered and waited the captive died and they buried him. Dug him up, got the letter............... nice and quick.

I'd have thought that might result in townsfolk dying as well though considering they had the same affliction.

Well now that you mention it............. the streets were damn empty and all the houses were too. Apart from Melichor and one guy at the stables, there was nobody but a few guards. I couldn't find my buddy from Skalitz either.

They'll all be back; the game respawns every NPC it seems. Every damn guy in Band of Bastards died save Dangler and Petr, and a few weeks later they all respawned. Even Jakey. Who I killed personally. It's unnerving - they're all up at the camp and they just stare at me..............
