Kuno randomly dies after last battle in DLC

I about give up on this hot mess of a game, no matter how many times I reload and retry the last battle? he dies. even after I win? He just stands there and then randomly kneels over and dies...I hate this. I hate this so much.
So whats the deal ? whats the bug? the problem? I Read he can get poisoned? ok. so now what? how did they manage to mess every single big battle in this game?
Surly there was some testing, quality control ?
every single time I start to enjoy this game , it stops me and says....nah I don't think so. get rekt

I think (and don't quote me on that) if you don't do the ring quest (the one that the members of the band keep asking you to steal a ring amongst the other members) they get really weak in the final fight. As in, instantly clobbered kind of weak.
I didn't bother reloading a save last time I played this DLC, I just 1v6'ed Zoul and his cronies then told Radzig that everyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ died.
Kinda cool that there is a dialogue option for that specific ending though.

I tried to do it, but after knocking out of the nest, and handing it over. no one had another quest for me.
I did finally (after about 15 reloads) was able to finish the fight with no one dying, but my god what a hot mess of a quest.
I'll just leave this here in case someone else has the same issues. I did hurry and talk to him after the fight, not sure if that effected it.

It doesn't matter what happens. That's the end of the dlc. If you're going to end with the fight, as opposed to peaceful negotiations, might as well let them die, you can then take all their weapons :)

I didn't even think there was a peaceful outcome .
I tried but meh this game is starting to annoy me I just want to be done with it.
Am on another DLC with lots of bugs am already tired of

OP, it's not a bug, but the game's combat mechanics at work. One of the core combat mechanics is bleeding, which is a special kind of damage which can only be healed by using bandages. When you're bleeding, you'll slowly lose HP until you either die or you bandage the wound; the game TELLS you this the first time it happens, which is usually during the prologue. Both NPCs and Henry are susceptible to this. I've seen my opponents keel over and die in mid-combat because of the bleeding, so that HAS to be what happend to Sir Kuno; he got hit badly enough in the fight for him to start bleeding, and it got him afterwards. No bug at all, but just another aspect of the game's combat.

I chose to let the Band of Bastards go with the gold and duel Hagen. Kuno and everybody else will live, you save many lives ;)

I've managed to complete the final battle multiple times and some without any of the band dying......... then I'd see them all later at the BoB camp. Not sure what the issue is that you're having.

Yes he can die. They all can. So what ? As long as you kill Zoul it doesn't matter. Last time I did this fight I got a message that Kuno had died............ but so what ?

Much more satisfying to duel Zoul anyways. Man up.
