The Prey Quest - How Do I Get Wine And Bacon?

It says to get the wine and bacon from the saddlebags but there's no way for me to interact with the horse. No button prompts show on screen and nothing happens no matter which buttons I press.

This quest is still buggy. I had the prompt and was able to interact, but only the bacon condition was satisfied. I've tried repeatedly interacting from both sides of the horse and aiming all over the horse's saddlebags and armor, but no wine.

Mine was bugged also, but I found an area in front of the horse by the first bench that prompted me to press E.

When i diabled the easy lockpicking mod, the problem was gone.

Weirdly, myself and many others did it..

Reload an old save, or maybe dig up another old thread for fun.

You know what is even more hilarious? If you do not catch a single hare he say that you and him as equally as bad. This means he as the seasoned hunter failed to catch a single hare. You win the bet by catching a single hare.

Here's what worked for me. Walk past the horse along the fence until you get to the bucket. Look down and right. An option to take wine and bacon. Geez, wonder why I didn't think of hthat sooner...

If someone is still looking for a fix, what worked for me was watch a walkthrough on youtube of this quest, watch where Sir Hans parks his horse and walk over there in your game. The "Fetch the wine and bacon" option will pop out of nowhere.

Oh man, finding the magic spot in the air near the button did the trick for me too. Thank you kind sirs for your help! That fool Capon parked his horse on the road instead of in the corral.

I had the same problem, did what this person said and completed the objective.

I couldn't get a hot spot on the horse either. I wound up finding it in the middle of the air at a random spot near the horse. I took a screenshot with my reticle on the hotspot in case it's the same for anyone else. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1967063407
