If you use low power boy with flimsy arrows and not draw it back properly its like throwing the arrow at someone.
I normaly need 1-3 shots..depending where they land

Archery totally unrealistic in this game and should be rebalanced.
Dude, peasant or not, if you managed to hit the targed with your arrots, and not just one, your targed should be dead, or at least act like its crippled based by zones of body where it was hit, like you know - you shoot the leg, npc barely walks, you shoot arms it barely can hold weapons and cant hit you mcuh with, you should chest, it barely can do anything and going to die soon of bleeding, you shoot head - and dies instantly, no matter what.
I mean that headshot should be insta kill (im not sure if that a hitbox issue or arrow damage just way lower than head Health or if there is no zone separation and arror in a knee = arrow in a head) no matter what kind of NPC its is, except for NPC that has metal helmets, they could live after arrow headshow, but arrow should not stick to their heads and should bounce of their helmets.
Headshots are insta kills for any humans without face/head protection but I think that doesn't count for animals, since I killed deers with an arrow to the lag and couldn't kill a boar with a headshot.
Probably animals hitboxes underdeveloped.
It wasn't until crossbows came along that they started to even be able to penetrate plate armour. Until then a well armoured knight was nigh-on invulnerable to everthing except blunt force weapons.
Headshots kill instantly, but they won't always go through helmets. I've seen an enemy get hit on the helmet, fall down for a while like he was dead and then get back up when I went off to fight someone else.
