Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Night Raid: How to Succeed
I see many people have an issue completing this mission. First you need low noise and black colour armor so the enemy can't see you as well. I did this in full plate, albeit with about 23 Noise and less than 50 visibility.
You only have to subdue the 2 guards on the left once you get up on the wall, for the rest you just have to follow Lord Capon until you get to the house where you need to go inside and speak with the villagers. Next you need to get Yourself and Capon out of there, because you can't go into the castle where all the men are supposed to be. Even if you kill all the soldiers, the captives you're looking for ARE NOT THERE. You're meant to fail this mission and continue with the following mission you receive after this.
I hope this helps some of you.

What breaks my immersion though :
* after killing ALL the enemies inside (even though I was only wearing my stealth gear :P)
[Normal mode can become too easy on PC]
* searching everywhere and knowing the hostages are not there
( making the villagers leave without any threat left )
* and, ABOVE ALL, reaching the area where I could just RAISE THE GATE !

my superiors ignore me and lay a seige !

(edit: corrected a few embarassing spelling mistakes)

Dunno about that. I had no problem whatsoever getting past. Improve your combat skills and maybe u'll be fine. Not just your in game stats, but your ability to handle the combat system and quickly finish off an enemy, it requires some getting used to, but you can do it.

Talk about a head in the sand... just because you don't experience something you assume that the other person is wrong? *shakes head* everyone else on here has the sense to recognize the extreme bugginess of the game. As for myself, I destroyed the enemies quickly, yet lingered to thoroughly loot and inspect the place (for those chests I didn't bother to unlock earlier on - there were several that had "ok" loot.)

Liquid Wolf Is 100% correct. Hans WILL die if you linger long enough. He bleeds out. The game told me that he "lost 5 pints of blood" and it was game over. Insulting another gamer and assuming his combat skills are to blame and discrediting his contribution to this thread was a totally d*ck move.

I had redone that quest a few times till I noticed that stealth based eliminating of all guards won't lead to success either. Then I simply attacked some guards, and Hans saved me as part of the scripted, forced content.

It is a fact : it's more like a scene that you playthrough (scripted to fail and sets up the siege).
Good thing is most quests or chapters are not linear.
I feel like that infiltration scene should be cut out or reworked honestly.

In that case, the content at Vranik could be reworked, too, since forcing a cutscene without giving Henry a chance to flee isn't nice. I had noticed the new horse in front of Erik's hut and wanted to peek inside, but the captivity cutscene is triggered immediately.
Once you've snuck down after killing or knocking out the two guards on the rampart, follow Hans down the staircase and avoid the patrolling guard. Then enter the room indicated. After a bit, Hans gets shot in the ass by an arrow. Immediately pick him up and just start running back to the ladder you came up. Don't try and fight anyone, you'll lose.

Btw, if you get killed and have to restart the Night Raid: Flee bit (where you have to carry Hans), the little sod has a habit of disappearing even though he's still talking to you. Quit the game completely, then load the save you get when that bit starts, and he should be flopping around on the ground like a wet fish. Pick him up and run. Otherwise, you'll end up wondering why the mission just won't bloody well end.
Nice necro.
Btw, I tried this quest for an hour yesterday, and I couldn't get past the first two guards. I could choke out the first one, but not the second one. After a few more attempts, I couldn't even choke out the first guard anymore.
Then I reloaded an earlier save to get some daggers and kill the guards, but it was the same thing as before. First guard died, second one didn't. Then both guards refused to die.
I tried to snipe them with arrows, but my arrow only pierced through the first guard's helmet, not the second one's.
At that point, I was so mad at this stupid mission that I just failed it intentionally. I didn't do this sooner because I wanted to see the rest of the mission, but screw that.

This takes place quite late in the main quest... for those concerned with Henry becoming too OP, maybe this is a good reminder that nothing is guaranteed if you are not (and in this game can never be) a demi-god.

It occurs to me that the devs missed out... kind of... they could have, maybe should have, included a quest thread where even at lvl 20 in all major combat related stats, Henry gets his butt handed to him every time. Like maybe a one-on-one with Sir Markvart von Aulitz?

I'm sorry to necro again this thread, but I have an important question.
I'm doing a no-reload hardcore run (I know, I'm crazy), and for the first time I got so far into the game.
I need some advice not to get into some kind of game over.
So: what happens if you raise the alarm? You fail the quest but also get to game over? What should I pay attention to? I just want to survive.

If you raise the alarm, you "fail" the mission but canonically you always fail, it is scripted where the alarm sounds after you get to a certain point in the mission even with 100% stealth. You can just rush through the mission by letting yourself get caught then hightail it back to the ladder so the whole mission ends.
