Where is Tobias Feyfar?

On All the Glistens quest. I got documents from Ulrich that i need to deliver to Tobias Feyfar, the Master Engineer guy. I also need him for the King's Silver quest. I looked from the lowest floor to the highest, in the entire castle but i just cant find the guy. Tried resting around a bit to see if the marker moves. Nothing happens at all. Is the marker actually showing him or is the dude moving around independently fromt he marker? It's driving me nuts. Anyone know where he might be?

bump! out of exasperation, i tried waiting untill nightfall to see if i can find him when npcs return to sleep. no such luck.

i waited untill midnight in all the bedrooms i found open, to see if he comes in one of those rooms. nothing.

so i tried attacking the guards, and he actually came out of one of the rooms with a Hard Lock on, but i was a bit busy with all the town's garrison trying to lynch me, and him running like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sonic, so i could not talk to him. how am i supposed to get to this guy? i cant open the door, i have no idea where he is during the day, i looked up and down Rattay, and could not find him. can someone please tell me where this guy can be found during the day? i cant be the only one on this quest.

Day 41 - Still no sign of Tobias Feyfar. Will keep bumping untill someone that has seen this guy will hopefuly tell me where he is, i'm stuck otherwise.

I finally got the ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Since people seem to give zero ♥♥♥♥♥ about helping others, i'll leave this here in case someone else has issues locating this guy :

just wait in the doorway of the first floor of the castle where his marker is. he seems to come out of his impenetrable room at 6:30 am. I posted myself there at 6am and just waited in game time untill he finally came out.

omfg i love you that worked right at six i could here the bastard snoring like 2 min later he walked out and i finally found him. thank you so much i was relly frustrated lol. sir radzig said something about him being at an inn in sasau so i was running around like crazy for the last 2 days real time looking for this prick.

Radzig will give you a quest to assist Feyfar in dealing with the Skalitz mine, this should unlock the door for anyone that doesnt want to stalk him and wait for him to appear.

That's not correct. Or it's a bug. If you read my first post, i stated there that i also needed him for the King's Silver quest. That is the quest that Radzig gives you. So it must be a bug in this case.

Going to have to assume its a bug then, because he was camped in his room while I tried to deliver the knight's letter until I got the quest and the door magically unlocked.
