Can't unequip the Bow [BUG]
If i want to switch from any bow to the melee weapon, i have to open the inventory and uneqip the bow manually. I think this issue appears, when i'm sneaking around. Never had this problem at my first two playthroughs, last year. Could be the actual version (1.8.2) or caused by the DLC's (bought them recently).

Don’t have that problem. Keys 1 and 2 work normal. All DLCs installed.

Well, think this happens only now and then for me, but yes what a frustrating pain. Usually if you are engaged, the NME sees you and is running to fight, close but not melee/sword reach quite yet, right?

Switch faster to your sword/mace/axe after one maybe two arrows next time.

And steam really isn't the place for bug reports, try the dev website or at least search there, I think there already is a thread on this topic.

Steam is a pretty good place for bug reports. That’s why we have the mega thread and some of the developers frequent the forums.

The megaforum is good for frequenting with the developers, but is not a pretty place to post bug reports. That's why there is steam.

This is something I only see when I select a weapon (melee or bow) when in crouch, or am trying to swap when in crouching.

Stand up and you should be able to swap if you are 'stuck' and crouched. Alternatively if you are stuck and standing crouch and deselect your bow.

It is a bug, but only a minor one and it is simple to work around, even without going to the inventory, if this is the same issue you are having.

Reboot yer PC, its a "Registry" problem that should be Solved by doing this. As you said..you BOUGHT a Dlc...and its buggy. The registry hasn't recognised the Changes in the game yet...so to Install em...just Reboot your PC.

Your advice and the reasoning behind it is consistently amusing.

This bug has happened to me a few times and I don't have any DLCs. All I had to do was reload my save.

I have run into this on occasion also. I just open inventory, and un-equip the bow and then it will allow you to draw a sword again. Later you have to go back and re-equip the bow.

Annoying but not game-breaking. Would be nice if it got fixed one day.

Confirmed! But it would be nice, if Warhorse simply fix it. It can't be difficult.
