on the other side u could carry 5k weight and mount ur horse normally, which from an rpg-standpoint is laughable, so personally i think this game adds to immersion, though it felt bad leaving 500 boar meat in the middle of the forest.

haven´t checked compatability
the option to have a 2nd horse would be nice though the amount of changes to the base game would probably be unreasonable.
(donkey or wagon are questionable due to travel speed)
from a pure immersion standpoint i´d go with unlimited carry weight and dropping a couple of thousand groschens somewhere to "pay" for imaginary carry-horses, at least if u really want more carry weight.
atm on hardcore with all negative perks i´m sitting on 100k groschen, have some of the best armor available (didn´t go treasure hunting so far) and haven´t even touched the 1st main-quest (awakening) (timers...). so this change isn´t really a huge problem if u organize well & plan ahead.
so there are reasons for it (immersion) & reasons against it (implementation & lack of immersive workarounds) and also mods to somewhat fix it (if it actually needs fixing)
