Then you have to wait 2-3 days in game, the quest may say failed on the "Cure all People" objective, but if you talk to Melachar or whatver the bailfs name is again, he says thanks for curing everyone.
He will take half and go to Straws house. You have to run round I think 5 in all.
1 The thirsty grocer who thinks your his brother.
2 Bershinka the women whose husband died and you buried.
3 The Bailifs wife.
4 The man in the last house who asked you to do his will.
5 Finally Straw's wife. (The monk says he will do it and he is there with her but it never completed for me until I clicked on her).
Talk to baillif and he will let you into shed to cure the prisoner.
Then it's a case of waiting a couple of hours and question him.
Then wait a few of days before returning and checking everyone is cured.
Speaking about Nicodemus - make sure to buy his herbs before he sets off from the monastery - at default, he's way too overloaded, and will reaaaly slowly walk there. When rid of herbs, he runs over quite quickly.
You only need to worry about 3 other than the prisoner. Nic gets the Straws, Johenka gets the temp Mayor's family. You get Bershinka, the thirsty grocer, and the people you write the will for.
Ah ok, I forget what I did on my first couple of playthroughs, but it would not complete until I clicked on Straw's wife on my last playthrough.
Then again, the first time I went to do it, the people wouldn't take the potion and gave the the generic sleep response. They died. I just reloaded and it worked fine the second.
Yeah I had done her quest. I talked to her first and she set off before I spoke to Nicodemus and brewed the potion. I rushed back and on getting the generic sleep response too I remembered from previous games that the monk had to be there.
So I was riding up and down the road trying to find him LOL.
Gave the cure to Bedrishka, Daniel and Vincent and nothing, (maybe if I had waited a bit longer), I was in a bit of a rush I guess. Anyway it worked in the end
I just cured those 3 then slept, and I failed the quest. Reloaded, then went and clicked Straw's wife, and the quest completed. So I, at least, did indeed have to click Straw's wife (even tho Nico is hovering over her, useless monk!).
