During the Vipers Nest quest, putting on Cuman clothing (be it from a Cuman or the chest with the clothing) did absolutely nothing. I would always get caught instantly no matter what.
What I want.
Soft-lock only blocking the enemy I am currently aiming at, no camera magnetism.
What I REALLY want
Left-click = swipe from the left.
Right-Click = swipe from the right
Left + Right = Swing from over the head
Perfect blocking is holding the block and clicking the correct combination (left, right, left+right, stab)
No camera magnetism, no mandated lock-on system. Sure, less directions is potentially less complex. But let's be honest here, your block - perfect block - master-strike, system already does that. This way we would at least not have to rely on cheesing when fighting multiple enemies.
What I REALLY want additions.
The combo system is expanded to where every starting position has a minimum of two combos. Either to bypass enemy block, or to make a choice between stamina damage (to break block) or direct damage (negated by block). Visual indicaters show when the enemy is low on stamina, such as slumping shield arm, slumping shoulders, or some such.
The bow has a wind-mechanic that is visualized by the addition of a feather that can take a total of 7 directions and wind-speed so that you need to compensate by leading or trailing the target.
Oh, and reenable 3rd person camera so that russian dude who is selling a mod for 20 dollars dont do that any more, and we dont have to risk not only being tricked out of money, but also becoming part of his bot-net.
Otherwise, love the game. Your take on a lot of the mechanics are wonderful. Just a few things that need improvement that we cannot trust mods will fix. Even if you dont do anything to fix the combat, I consider the money well spent to support developers creating actual games... even though it is rather shallow in the current implementation.
Warhorese has come to visit us!
Thx for your work, I'm hyped to play again.
Thank you again for such an amazing game, will continue to play and stress-test and play around the bugs. No problemo.
Can we have this in some quick fix or next patch please?
