Game won't launch following latest Memoria patch update?
I've tried booting up the game following the latest Memoria patch update, only to find that when I click Play, it closest the game down without actually starting. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi.
Apparently, you need to re-select a proper "Active Monitor" and "Resolution" after applying the patch in some situations.
Sorry for the troubles.

EDIT: It may be the option "Window Mode" instead.

I don't have another "Active Monitor" to select, though choosing another Resolution doesn't fix the problem

Then delete your file "Settings.ini" in your game's folder. The launcher should generate another clean one.

i did change to borderless to fix the crash on startup

So just delete the Settings.ini, reboot the game, then go in and change it to auto start again?

Yes, if you want to use that AutoStart option.
But the "Window Mode" may be the culprit instead, as Kali_Clamp said, so try changing that before trying the solution "delete Settings.ini".

Another Settings.ini didn't pop up, I just have Memoria.ini and I put the "autostart = true" into it and it still doesn't auto run.

And now it won't let me use the steam button while in game so I don't know how to exit the game?

That seems to have done the trick, thank you

What exactly did you do friend? I'm trying to get money to work.

We uploaded an emergency hotfix for that problem, so now it should at least not crash.
Sorry again.

This worked for me today trying to play on my laptop connected to my TV.
