Can't Progress in Gizmaluke's Grotto

I've gotten to the point in Gizmaluke's Grotto where the Moogles are supposed to stop you and give the Holy Bell, but I can't get it to trigger no matter what.

I've opened every door, even gotten the extra bell. Went outside to the above world, reloaded my save, relaunched the program, etc. I don't have a prior save so it looks like I'm stuck.

I don't remember the order of how everything proceeds there but can you say what scenes you've seen with the Moogles so far? When you say you went outside, can you say which way? There are two exits, and I have a guess which one you mean (i.e. the dead end area with dangerous enemies around, if it's your first time through there).

Beyond that, I'd just suggest to verify integrity of the game files in Steam.

*edit* checked a video. Just making sure: You say you opened all doors but did you do that before or after meeting up with both Moogles? They're supposed to give it to you when you go back inside the place (to find the real exit).

You need to agree with the moogle by saying that you love Kupo Nuts.

Yep, turned out you have to go through ALL of the dialog with the Save moogle first, then the husband moogle to agree with liking Kupo Nuts and only then will he trigger.
