I will say that the combat/character progression of FFXIII was complete garbage (like FFX-2 with AIDS/Cancer/Ebola combined) but the story was great and worth playing through. I vastly prefer the turn-based/ATB combat of FF1 through 10, however for some reason I still found FF12 combat enjoyable and it had a fantastic character progression system.
I did like X's theme and gameplay (everything else was pretty ehh), X-2's gameplay was so much fun even though i dont get why Yuna got a gun and why Shadow the Hedgehog became a girl with a sword. and don't kill me please, but I actually really liked every character in XIII except for Snow. Yeah, even Vanille. The only negative in that game for me was it being so linear. I think I just blow SE too much.
PS. FFXII IZJS on PC WHEN, Squeenix?
but what makes me really replay X is the Monster-arena, that one should be a classic and integrated in all ffs.
IZJS is worse than the original system
It also threw in a speed up button as a bonus.
They should probably give it as an option though to use the job boards or the original.
10 was more linear and other things but it had the most fun post game imo.
i love maxing out characters in FFs. i guess you can imagine im gunna get disgaea as well lol.
It's actually a pet peeve of mine when they give you a super important goal, and then just let you wander freely without actually working toward it. Fallout 4's plot fell down because of that imo.
Less so than Fallout 4. Fo3 gave you an important task, but you were never insanely rushed to complete it. Learning about the wasteland was more important than finding your father. FNV was just a revenge plot.
