Everyone forever-trance - Glitch or story?

So I'm on my way to the Iifa tree for the first time and.... everyone is going into trance. Every random battle. I haven't even entered the Iifa tree and uhh... No one's mentioned it online. Is it part of the story that no one thought was noteworthy, or did I run across a really interesting glitch? They also all full-heal after every battle.

Oh. That's kinda weird. I don't see it listed in the Config with the other boosts... is it somewhere else? And possible to turn off?

Press F2, this is the Infinite HP/MP, Infinite Trance, Max ATB cheat. If you look at the bottom right of the screen, you should see a sword and staff. This means the cheat is on. Just press it again to turn it off.

Most people playing with controller activate booster when they pause game (by pressing one of 4 buttons LB, RB, LT and RT) avoid pressing those while game paused and you are golden.

You can also see if one of them is activated its displayed on screen.
