Here de solution, and it works.

1)Copy all the content in the folder x86 to folder x64

2) Do this
https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/4891/

3)In BasicFX.cfg change to this (I use resolution 1366x768 and its perfect!!!)

All it does is stretch the picture, which is ugly and annoying imo. I'd rather keep the gray bars.

Do you use a different resolution ? If so, you'll have to adapt the values.

we both actually use the same resolution (1366x768)

Wow, you didn't solve anything, you just messed up the aspect ratio which is worse than a fixes 4:3 ratio.

Someone else just posted a fix that let's you keep aspect ratio and get rid of grey bars, but I haven't tried it. He uses nvidea. I use amd, but you can choose custom resolution for both. Looks promising. Screenshots look good.
