The controller is one of the original pre-Dual Shock PS1 controllers. The adapter sometimes detects "phantom" input signals from the missing analog sticks, which could pose a problem. I will have to test it myself to see whether it works properly in FFIX. If, not I will have to buy a new controller.
As an aside, only being able to save the game when I encounter a Moogle is a drag. I wish I could save anywhere.

Yea saving the game only at moogles can be a pain. but once you get use to it, its not that bad.
just have to plan ahead, like i dont play before i go into work, i wait untill im home for the night.
I'm looking for third-party tools that will allow me to bypass the game and remap the controller buttons from there.
