They do a hard work keeping it updated, but they do it, or all their past hard work on creating and updating it will be useless.
When there is an update to this game, next weeks they release an update for the mod when it get broken with the game update.
I see the beatrix mod as an essential mod to the game so perfecting that integration is a priority imo.
Also, if you add "Beatrixmod" in the ini file, and then click the "orchestral music" checkbox the file is rewritten and your edits are gone.
I found some mods that allow to do that but they are not compatible the the MoguriMod.
1) Download the two images: https://imgur.com/oQVRU9w and https://imgur.com/F5CZB1T,
2) Put them in a sub-folder "PSXButtonMod/FF9_Data/EmbeddedAsset/UI/Atlas/" and rename them "Icon Atlas" (removing the ".png" extension of the image's name) and "Screen Button Atlas" respectively. Put that folder "PSXButtonMod" in FF9's directory.
3) Register the mod in "Memoria.ini": in section "[Mod] FolderNames" by simply adding "PSXButtonMod" in front of the other mods.
Alternatively, you can put these files in a subfolder of "MoguriFiles" instead, and then you don't need to register the mod in Memoria.ini since it's already there (but then, it may get automatically removed when updating the Moguri mod or things like that).
