Player numbers beg to differ. Update is great and very much playable.
What increase in stability? This game was published in 2015. Did everyone play it for 9 years in unstable state? Vanilla F4 was allright in this regard.
What bugfixes?
"Fixed issue with character name field when in widescreen mode." Again, was this really so important to update this game after 9 years? Issue was propably fixed by Unofficial Patch made by modders years ago. Are they going to make new updates about every bug that they left the game with? It will take them another 10 years!
WHAT the hell are you talking about?! Update didn't say anything about new things! The patch note is right there. There! Are bethesda fans so delusional these days?
Happy new year then.
The very first thing mentioned in the patch notes:
Sounds like "extra content" to me.
A solid amount of bug fixes too:
If you didn't know, Creation Club is just paid mods. A wondrous invention by Beth Softworks - when before you had mods for free - now you have to pay for them.
Enclave Remnants was made in 2020. Hellfire armor in 2019, Heavy incinerator - same 2019 etc. These were all there before. Only new things are:
*Makeshift weapons - it's got Baseball Launcher and Nailgun- Huzzah! :0
*and Halloween Workshop - there's ton of free mods adding this. Was my broken mod list worth a fraggin' pumpkin?
It's not new content if it has 5 years.
Same goes for those 'bugfixes' They were fixed a long time ago: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4598
Extra content = extra content. Pretty hilarious that it only took one comment to slide the goalposts though. "UpDaTe DiDn'T sAy AnYtHiNg AbOuT nEw ThInGs!" to "OnLy NeW tHiNgS aRe..."
Mods are at your own risk so you should have accounted for updates.
1. That content is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
2. I can get better content For free from the modders you Seem so opposed to
3. That paid content comes with the burden of seemingly deliberately damaging the better free content i can get from modders
The buidling crew didn't do it - house is old. The apartment rental agency also didn't had anything to do with it.
But according to you, they can advertise it as a new content for your flat, and raise the rent.
You already said that the Makeshift Weapons Pack and Halloween Workshop were new. But yes, I typically do praise game companies when they add new content to a game. That's a pretty normal and sane reaction. Do you praise game companies when they remove content?
That's not really what happened though, is it? What's much more akin to what occurred is that your rental agency placed a new wicker chair on your porch. It is a new chair. You didn't ask for it, you may never use it, and you don't like it because it's wicker, but it is a new chair. The rental agency also didn't increase your rent or charge you for it. They simply did it for free.
And we all paid the rent when other, actually interesting mods stopped working for a 9-year old game, because of 'next gen' update (60fps locked). Thanks for discussion.
