The alternative choices are illegal, and imho I strongly believe it to not be worth the hassle at all, all things considered, this is by far the worst fallout game in history, and since they've managed to jury rig 76 with several crappy patches, 76 is currently far better than this game ever was quality-wise.
To put a cherry on top, over 90% of the mods available for FO4 are either abandoned, dead, outdated or unsupported by their creators currently - which means that the only thing that makes this game salvageable isn't doing well neither.
No, it wouldn't have been.
Isn't that fitting though? I mean, the world is in a post apocalyptic period. How many times did you walk past vehicles, bicycles or tractors that are not repairable or modifiable? Not even the abandoned roads are repairable. And look, the NPC had a comment relating that fact for that armor type.
Bro,
Thank the devs for their creative imagination.
