Beantown Interiors Mad Bomber Workshop
How does this part of the Beantown Interior mods work? I have never seen a quest for it, and have never been able to find a single one of the magazines. Is one of those required to activate it? If so, does anyone know where the magazines can be found?

Don't have this mod but it looks interesting

Personally wouldn't use it without this patch
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/63975?tab=files

Also;
Options Holotape, (Holotape gets added to player on update or when leaving Vault 111 for the first time)

Did you read that holotape?

Yes, I did read the holotape. Reread actually. It says you must find an issue of "The Suicide Bomber's Guide to Survival" in order to activate the workshop. I have been playing F4 a very long time, and have never found a single issue of the magazine. Which is why I'm asking if anyone else has ever found one, and if so, where?

Also installed mod myself, gonna check it out now.

The rest of the mod is great. Adds a LOT of explorable locations to the game. Only annoying thing is how hard all the magazines are to find. Well, I'm off to read the reddit post.

Wow finally found the first issue. Talk about well hidden! Finally can make some bombs..

Are those bombs at least any good? :)

It's a very good mod, yes! The exploration and additions are fun, though sometimes a bit buggy with overlapping location visuals. I've used it pretty much on all my runs after first vanilla, and enjoy it a lot.

Yeah, I discovered Beantown shortly after getting the game. I very quickly got annoyed with all the boarded up buildings, and installed Beantown. Subway Runners is another must; it allows you to travel around almost the entire Boston subway system. Lexington Interiors is also good. Opens up a ton of locations in Lexington. I only wish the author had also done downtown Boston. But, it beats the hell out of vanilla!
But getting back to Beantown, it has some interesting locations. Alice's Diner, Freddy Phears' House of Scares, Polly's Pure Breads and so on. I highly recommend it. Now I'm off to become the Mad Bomber. Bwaahaahaahaa!

YES the house of scares! Sadly it also interferes with a settlement mod for that specific spot :/ making the previs really really atrocious lol.

Well, the Mad Bomber is only meh so far. The first magazine will only get you the ability to craft Nuka cocktails (low damage), and M-18 signal grenades (red smoke). I guess you have to have all the mags in order to make stuff like pipe bombs and nuke grenades. I tried using the console command to go to the Beantown warehouse, but it causes an instant CTD. And I'm not in the mood to start uninstalling mods to ID the culprit.
Oh well, I'll just have to keep searching the ruins..

Just an FYI for anyone trying to find the Mad Bomber magazines. The first is on a bookshelf in a house bordering the Cambridge Crater. It is underneath a bunch of burnt books on a bookshelf. The second mag is in the little red house in Lexington, with the pink flamingos outside. Look for the stove in the far corner of the house. There will be a pile of cardboard boxes in front of it. Lift them all up, and you will see a hatch, which you can then access.
There is a third magazine, but I have no idea where it can be found (yet)..

Last entry for this. Found a spreadsheet that contains locations for ALL of the magazines; Nuka-Cola Digest, Mad Bomber, Eyeful and Titter. Also has the Drunken Gnome quest info. Enjoy!: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xUH5cjD6QYNlfN0vkvMt-zcUAJMwKe4qrsHN3VW6_0M/edit#gid=0

Yes! Though If you have ANY mods that change the landscape... they will obliterate the gnomes locations :( I have found this out on numerous occasions desperately trying to find a couple of those guys and realizing "oh, this mod overwrote the location". :/

Truth be told, I'm really not interested in the gnomes. What I wanted was the locations for the Nuka-Cola Digests, and the Mad Bomber's Workshop issues. But, it's all there, for whatever anyone wants of it. Finally, and at last! :)
