Do you have any 'seasonal' mods installed? they might make them only come out during certain times of year but I don't use them so I can't say for certain.
I actually deliberately didn't install that one because I didn't want a lot of what it did.
So I know it's not that.
I agree that it shouldn't.
Not 100% sure it didn't.
Nope.
Closest thing I have to that is "True Storms".
I mean, okay, I have a bunch of "make the foliage more interesting!" mods, but nothing that gives FO4 seasons.
I've been running this game for more than 4 thousand hours with all the dlc, and regularly have to stop my settlers from shooting at radstags as they run by, so no it's definitely not the dlc.
It might just be very-bad-random-numbers, it could be literally anything because this game's code is such spaghetti.
Apparently there is a radstag bug where falling asleep after eating grilled radstag will make the carry-weight buff permanent, so typing in "radstag bug" gets me walls of that.
Tried other search criteria to no avail besides this Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/zgiqvx/where_have_the_radstag_herds_gone/
It was a wildlife overhaul, which I thought would be fine because the healthy radstags mod worked perfectly well...thankfully, Vortex lets you sort by install date...
Assuming, of course, that it's a mod problem at all, that is.
I had a bunch of grilled radstag in storage, among other things, and they're gone.
Oh, yes.
At least a game week has passed without seeing any radstags.
Where did they go?
Where did they come from?
Radstag doe.
because you should have, lol.
Indeed.
Pretty sure I haven't used a mod that does that, but then I've been surprised before.
"When did I install that?" has been said more than once.
I've been pretty careful about that for a while--making sure that "English" is part of my search criteria on Nexus--but I wasn't always, and ended up with a few textures that were in Russian. (Ewps.)
I'm quite certain that radstags hadn't started disappearing until quite a bit after I started using that filter regularly, tho...
I looked over every mod, and the only thing I can imagine is that some of the foliage tweaks maybe covered over a spawn point? I d'know.
