Next-gen update resolutions for PC

I am considering getting the game. The Next Gen update announcement mentions support for ultrawide monitors but does not mention 4K support. Does anyone know if native 4K support will be included directly in the launcher (with no need for any editing, mods or other tools)

The game supports 4K it always has done it even has optional official high res texture pack.

i have not seen these options. i could not play it on my ultrawide.

I'm playing on a 34 in monitor. To make the resolution more bearable do the following.

open C: - users - "the name of your user id" - documents - my games - fall out4
and then edit the fallout4prefs file. Adjust the file to show the following values on these particular lines.

iPresentInterval=1
bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1600
iSize W=2560


go to same under steam - steam apps - common - fallout4 - fallout4 - fallout4 prefs.

same settings. Save files once edited.

Adjust your computers resolution to match. Should be good to go.

Its not 3440x1400 or 3840x2160, but its more bearable than the max it allows in the game settings.
