I have just started this Nuka World quest and have given Sierra the bottle of Quartz she requested now all I get from her is her initial dialogue about her dream coming to Nuka World I have tried console commands to progress the quest but they have not worked any help with this would be appreciated thanks in advance

Which stage in her quest are you at? rather than jumping to a setstage you should probably figure out where it's stuck first, with the same console type command but it's

rather than setstage.

Also you'll want to be close enough to her to follow her around during a tour, as that's the next stage, not the hidden things yet. You have to have her glasses and be wearing them, to get those.

he said he gas given the cola quartz to sierra as she asked , that means he has already collected every cappies. no need for the glasses also, next stage after that is 80.
do you even read before posting ?

nevertheless i suggest op search for unfinished conversation in nuka world before setstage as it's not a well-known and referenced bug.

I don't memorize the stages for any of these quests m'man, I usually assume that at stage 80 you're nowhere near done since most quests end at 250 to 1000.

Sorry for not replying sooner [been in hospital]. I had completed the quest and obtained the schematics etc from Bradburtons safe after turning off his life support and when I went into my pip-boy for the next quest I noticed that I still had that message and now I don't know how to remove it apologies for not explaining better when I first posted.

Okay but if you've used the console to set any stages in this quest, the quest is broken. It is mutually exclusive, you can't have both her stuff and the gun / ammo recipe, so I'm not sure what you're asking.

If you want to complete HER side of the quest and get her nuka outfit, you cannot also have Bradburton's side of it too. I'd say, you might want to go back to a save before you did anything at all before entering the code to the office with her, and take a side. Crush her expectations, or make bradburton into a sideshow freak in her nuka museum ;D

Also I hope you're okay if you were in hospital for a while!

The funny thing is, despite how much I abuse Sierra as a milking machine for companion likes, when I actually go ahead with the quest, I don't think I ever go with the line that involves giving her quartz. No pun intended.

That aside, it is technically possible to get both rewards by exploiting game glitches (including clipping into the final locked room instead of powering the door), though it's fiddly and I always have to refresh myself on how to do it properly each time I get to that point. Some of it I think involved running away and coming back later so that she'd calmed down from thinking I'd killed someone who was still alive, but I may have found a sequence to get around that. Though since she lives down there permanently anyway, it's not like I'd lose much by killing her off in self-defense, I just prefer not to do it.

I always die when I try that trick, myself, trying to clip through things. If you've already decided her way it'll blow you up. I've never encountered a quartz line that I know of but I usually just go in wanting the nuka outfit. >_> call me crazy.
