Help with F4SE

I have a rather small list of mods installed. around 30 . Mostly the top endorsed mods in the nexus and when i try to launch the game i get this message:

You are using Fallout version 1.10.163, which is out of date and incompatible with this version of F4SE. Update to the latest version."

I have both downgraded Fallout and installed latest version of F4SE.
What am i doing here wrong ?

Sure. Go to https://f4se.silverlock.org/ and get the F4SE for 1.10.163. It's the second choice. Copy that stuff to your root directory of Fallout 4 and say "yes" to overwrite.

Cadaver Synod and I were faster than McDonalds, yes? :)

"Latest" or LAST version of F4SE? There's your problem: you also have to downgrade the version of F4SE that you use, as mentioned above.

Is the downgrade a big deal ?
Does it mean that i am not playing with next gen update ?
Is there a discord Server to talk about this things ?

Yep, you're now playing the previous version. I wouldn't know about Discord servers, I only use them *if* I'm playing an MMO and *if* we're about to raid. No way I'm listening to a bunch of total strangers talk about things I haven't cared about since I was in High School back in the 60's.

Your game version and F4SE *and* your mod organizer version ALL need to be correct and intended for the same setup. You can't mix and match.

This is the danger of pulling up OLD threads.

F4SE has changed due to the "NG" update that came out last year.

if you're running 1.10.983 of the game you need F4SE 0.7.2 now.
