Really disappointing this bug still persists.
Game-braking bug for the survival run !!!!!!
1
in Nuka-World: the fun house bug.
You can only visit Oswald last in the castle, otherwise the quest is broken and can only be continued with a cheat. Oswald then just stays in the fun house forever and attacks the player immortally in the fun house.
1 Search the Tunnels
2. Search the Fun house
3. Search the Theater.
So first into the sewers, then into the fun house, and then finally into the castle, finally into the attic of the castle.
Oswald throws his molotovs in a really annoying way, so the fight is impossible without power armor.
You should bring at least 600 ammo because Oswald is as immortal against firearms as the ghoul Cooper in the Amazon show.
if you jump on top of the steel pillar, according to RETRO Gaming, he can't reach you.
If a legendary enemy happens to spawn a rifle, coincidentally, Oswald will one-shoot you.
And the Oswald fight left me apathetic:
Oswald throws his Molotovs out of nowhere, without animations, without announcement, out of nowhere.
So no dodge gameplay.
In Fallout3 there is this wiki/Feral_ghoul_(Fallout_3)#Feral_ghoul_reaver
but who throws his ♥♥♥♥ with animations.
"Reavers have the unique ability to throw pieces of their own body at a target. These chunks, thrown with deadly accuracy and range, explode like a grenade and can easily cripple limbs. The chunks also emit radiation."
So:
Bethesda have thrown away their own immersive gameplay assets. Like copied from "Piranha Bytes".
In Days Gone, enemies announce when they throw grenades or Molotovs, and with animations.
This retro gaming fight without animations, is a prime example of how incompatible Bethesda is with optimization and polishing.
Of course, I have emotional thoughts on the subject of remake-reboot, 60 hours cookie cutter gameplay with narrative design.
