In Sheeps Clothing broken

I've finished the quest, shot the mayor, but piper still stands there and the guy is still shot in the street, nothing happens. Tried all setstage, reloading, passing time (several days) nothing. Any fix?

Have done this hundreds of times, it's not working. Literally months have passed in-game.

I got this problem right now. Saved Geneva then killed mayor. Geneva becomes hostile and Piper or Cait kills her. Any solution, please?

So, I was doing the "In sheeps clothing" quest, then geneva went hostile, so I klilled her, and thought nothing of it. I continued to play the game, and progress through side quests, and eventually I wanted to enter the Home Plate, but then I realized that Geneva can get killed, permanently. Theres no way Im loading a save that I made 3 months ago.

My savefile got corrupt so I uninstalled fo4. Turns out the so called "next gen update" didnt really add much and absolutely didnt fix a single issue.

Bethesda updates aren't designed to fix problems, they're designed to create them. This generates interest in the game, because they've broken it again. The game becomes sick, and requires all kinds of attention to repair. It's a high-tech form of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy.

I think I may have realized whats wrong. For me at least, I lockpicked the door, which Geneva saw, and after the cutscene, may have turned her hostile. From what I understand, you're supposed to click the button under her desk to open the door.
