Fallout 4
KILL command doesnt work on NPCs
Whenever i target settlers or caravan guards and want them dead, i just type KILL in fallout new vegas and even in skyrim, but why the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does it not work in fallout 4? all it does is knock them down on their asses and thats it. I want them DEAD, not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sitting flat on their asses and looking at me disappointed. Is there like a secondary console command that i need to use to force an NPC to not be essential anymore like in skyrim?

Also will i get penalised for killing caravans? Do they respawn? WIll any subsequent caravans i encounter be hostile towards me afterwards?

^^ Basically if you're "only seeing guards" then you aren't looking very hard for their caravan seller. The doc, the armorer, and cricket with her guns guns guns travel with guards. Carla doesn't. if you see "caravan guard" as an npc, look a little harder because they are guarding a caravan for a reason.
The game does bug out though with traveling caravans. Sometimes the caravan leader is already gone or somewhere else and the brahmin and the guards are trailing behind.
♥♥♥♥ the caravans, i have a newer, but lesser issue.. whats with the naked nameless unkillable yet dismemberable guy in the USAF?

No such thing in the game. Sounds like a mod gone wrong.

I literally recorded it by pure accident when i teleported there to kill the 2 respawning bandits and loot the indoor containers for 11.43x23mm and 7.62x51mm ammo. The naked dude is gone now. The clip of the naked dude will be added to my fallout compilation and ill upload it once i finish fallout 4. As for my mods, i only have 3. A lockpick cheat which shows me where to twist, papa franku's anime opening and uuuuh....... the oopsie woopsie uwu we made a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wackie death sound

I doubt that. 7.62 ammo is not in the normal fallout game world (Commonwealth). It's only available in the DLC Nuka World. So if you're traveling to USAF, kill raiders and pick up 7.62 ammo then you have a mod that changes that. The only other way is if you have completed Nuka World and have Nuka World raiders roaming around. They will carry handmade weapons with 7.62 ammo. But the ones inside USAF are not Nuka World Raiders. 11.43 ammo doesn't exist in the game at all, not even DLC.

Bro you REALLY need to up your gun knowledge.. 11.43x23mm is .45ACP while 7.62x51mm nato is .308 winchester and as for the DLC nuka world the said 7.62 ammo is LITERALLY 7.62x39mm russian. Oh and the 10mm ammo is also 10x25mm auto while the .38 round could be 9x20mmR, 9x23mmR super, 9x29mmR special, 9x23mmSR ACP or 9.1x26mm long colt

Just because .308 fits in a 7.62 chamber doesn't mean it's the same type of round. Sorry man, they are not the same. Not even in the real world. .308 has higher pressure than 7.62 and can be very unsafe to fire from a 7.62 weapon unless the manufacturer specifically states it can handle the higher pressure.
The name 11.43x23mm does not exist in the game. Sorry that I missed that this is the same round as .45. .45 is in the game. Use that next time so people don't get confused.

I dont know about civilian weapons, but the fn fal is a 7.62x51mm rifle YET my father who was an officer (military captain) fed it over 80 mags with both 7.62x51mm and .308 during the Turkish Invasion back in 1974 and only ONCE he told me he had a malfunction and that was because the gun overheated while defending an airfield full of turkish paratroopers and UN cumrags as he emptied over 20 fn fal mags and 30 ak47 mags. He told me that there was nothing worse than having to loot your dead soldiers you were leading for ammo while being shot at.

The g3 line weapons can also sustain .308 ammo as both are meant to be most ragged battle rifles.... Unless youre an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who mistreats them

Sure thing. Still, .308 and 7.62 are not the same. And your dad knows that too.

Still the game uses names like .45 and .308 for specific weapons. And 7.62 for completely different weapons. In the game you cannot feed .308 or 7.62 in eachothers chambers, they are completely different weapons and separate ammo types.

So like I said, if you want to converse about ammo types it's best to use the in-game names.

Both .308 and 7.62x51mm are the same CALIBER, but not the same ammo TYPE. Similarly a .357 can shoot all the .38 ammo ive refered above, but not vice-versa besides 9x25mm dillon, 9x19mm parabellum, 9x18mm rusky makarov and 9x17mm colt aka .380acp. For it to shoot them SAFELY you need to lightly modify the cylinder by adding a small piece of iron through the holes.. During the war i dont know how the ♥♥♥♥ did my father do it, but he modified his .38 special (9x29mmR) smith and wesson to shoot 9x19mm and he also knows how to craft decently durable homemade suppressors. The irony is that in cyprus a great number of hunters know how to craft .410 shotgun suppresors which is impressive lol. Also a pistol that can shoot 9x19mm +P ammo can sustain medium pressure, but not so many can sustain 9x19mm 7N1 BPP GZH armor piercing rusky ammo.. what a name lol they are by far one the most lethal 9x19mm, but require a masochistic pistol that can take the insane pressure similarly to the 9x19mm quakemaker hollow points that are 185grain bullets. I dont know which will have issues first... your gun or your wrist lol

I can only imagine you have to get creative in times of need.
You need to remember that the GAME doesn't give a rat's behind what real ammunition does or looks like. Most people playing the game ALSO do not.

You teleported to a spot, that's one thing you shouldn't do.

You obviously are using mods and not coming clean about the fact that they are having effects that you didn't understand when you installed them.

READ your mods info before you even touch the download button.

If i wasnt reading the mods' descriptions, id have 20+ mods and not 3. Im VERY picky with my mods.

Miscommunication there.. i meant fast travel.. as if theres an actual way to teleport besides using COC which i havent yet tested if it works or not on fallout 4.

Regardless though heres a screenshot. https://ibb.co/4WCpJBS 60 of the pipe pistols are procured today and im sure ill have MINIMUM 1000 of them by the end of my playthrough
lol :D

I mean - WHY tho?

I have several cabinets and lockers and whatnot filled with all the actually-legendary loot that drops from stuff I kill, I regularly haul it all back to Sanctuary to squirrel it away or in rare cases stick it on the walls of my display room. But these things are literal trash?
Bethesda knew that we'd all be killing and looting caravans, and shooting annoying NPCs that make the game miserable to play, so they made them not kill-able.
And dead caravan merchants? You don't get much, not as much as you get if you trade with them.
