Jackpot Hub 360: What the flying FUUUUU?
Simple mission, right? Wrong. This mission is crap. I tried finding the cache from the skybridge access point. No dice; the cache was in a different part of the building inaccessible from there. Fine, no sweat. I jump down to the ground, go around to a different side of the building and take scaffold-stairs up, and enter by a door there.

Inside is a small room, and off to the right is a hall...where the objective pointer is. I walk into the hallway, and immediately become confused.

The gawdamned objective pointer is hovering in mid-air over NOTHING.

I start to go around, but the marker is definitely pointing at nothing inside that hallway. There is no button or panel or anything interactible there, so WTF? I don't want to do it, but it looks like a SetStage command might be the only thing that can fix it; I'd like to avoid that if I can. Is there something that I can do to make the cache visible?

I think it's supposed to be inside that closet at the end of the hall, the one with no damned terminal or lock to allow access. I turned off collisions and peeked inside, but there's just drek in it. I'm pretty sure the cache is event-spawned, and damn me if I know how to trigger the needed event.

Normally, the cache should just trigger and open once you get close enough while carrying the RFID card given to you for the quest. If it doesn't do that, something is going wrong.

It's the sort of thing where I usually just reload and try again, because most of the time some part of the scripting randomly faulted out and will work next time. However, the wiki page also mentions a bug that might be relevant:
PC If the Sole Survivor unlocks a DIA cache that is not the one the quest sends them to, for example unlocking the Medford Memorial Hospital cache while on the quest Jackpot: Hub 360, the quest will progress and can be turned in, but it will render another Jackpot quest unavailable, in this example, PAM would never give the quest Jackpot: Medford Memorial Hospital because the cache was already opened.

@ DouglasGrave: I'll try reloading an earlier save, but I'm not optimistic. As for the link you cited, that's not the case here...but, in fact, PAM did send me to pick up the Medford cache in an earlier part of the game, but that was Medford, not Hub 360.

Edit:
I rolled my game back a to the Carrington mission before I got PAM's Jackpot 360. Been thinking about it, and I think that I know what happened: When I got the RFID device from "her," its pickup was glitched. This time I made sure that it had ended up in my inventory. That would explain why the cache was invisible the last attempt; without the device, the cache won't unlock. Testing now...

Yup! That was exactly what had gone wrong! This time the device proximity triggered the closet door open. Thanks!
