I need mod make the game more terrifying
Is there a mod that can make the game atmosphere more terrifying, but without breaking immersion?

There are a number of ENBs and reshaders that change the atmosphere and colour qualities of the game that can give it a different mood....

Combine with a background music overhaul... would that do the trick??

All available on the Nexus for free...
Ask someone to put forth any effort? Nah man, just post here and wait for someone to do the work for them.
There are some zombie conversion mods. Let me see if I can find them.

I don't want all that snow and radiation but I do like the idea of FROST. It becomes like an 'open beginning - open end' shooter/survival game and after all those playthroughs these missions won't scratch that itch anymore.

Got the More Feral Ghouls/Zombie mod. Looks good to me, thanks!

There's definitely a ghoul Mod I tried previous playthru that upped the `fear` factor a bit right from the start especially in Survival mode. It's called D,E.C.A.Y. Ghouls sound scary and really messed up. Use with Darker Nights and you'll never want to go out at night again!

p.s. Hmm that more Feral ghouls mod is interesting. Looks even scarier and realistic. I don't like adding even more Mods, since I have a pretty perfect non-crashing set up, but this one is tempting. I'll make a Save and try.

Tried Feral ghouls. Just coming out of the airport Curie was attacked by a Ghoul vertibird pilot with a sad tale of what happened to his team.

Also some pretty interesting ghouls: A Feral ghoul that looked almost like a normal guy, a boy ghoul ... and a very fast baby ghoul! Both weird, creepy and sad, but also kinda realistic except the baby ghoul is kinda fast and hard to see if you're in Power Armor.

Yeah, I second that. I saw the mod and instantly wanted it, because it looks really good.

I was in Kitteredge Pass and saw a teenish ghoul with normal clothes on. Like he was just in highschool the other day. That's the kinda thing I wanna see.
