I recently just got promoted to Knight rank on the BOS ship. I was wondering if they also provide you with Fusion Cores aswell as the Power Suit?

Playing the game should show you those things. There are hundreds of available PA frames and pieces across the commonwealth, there's very little special about theirs but if you're on the ship surely you've explored it?

There might be one in the suit they provide. But other than that one, no. You have to find or buy your own. Protcor Teagan on the Prydwen probably sells them at times. Though I'm not sure on that part - I don't generally need to buy cores.

Yes, you can buy fusion cores from Proctor Teagan, along with other ammunition.

As far as power armour frames go, the only special thing about any of them is that a few from the Brotherhood have the name for the original owner when you look at them (specifically the frames used by Paladin Brandis, Knight Sergeant Gavil, and Elder Maxson). If you're dedicated to it, it's possible to souvenir all three of these if you fight against the Brotherhood (Maxson only wears his personal frame and Elder variant plating during "Airship Down").

Joining the Brotherhood will also give you the ability to use their special combat armour material (which only adds some radiation resistance, but costs nothing to craft), and to apply a few different levels of their T-60 paintjob (the Knight, Paladin, and Sentinel variants, each permanently available after you reach the appropriate rank).

For fusion cores, don't forget to check ammo containers. Maybe, for 25 you check, 1 will contain 4 fusion cores ... .

There's some on the Pridwen. I know, I just looted it today. You find them in a box in Elder Maxson's room. Don't let Emmett see you, he becomes your enemy because you're stealing. Then poor little Emmett dies in your X-02 Power Armor's Tesla death field. Poor cat.

There is a power armor in the Prydwen you can take. Teagan sells cores at the armory.
