Unable to launch Fallout 4 after uninstalling Fallout London

So I finished Fallout London and now I want to play Fallout 4 again, but it says that it failed to open something called "Data/F4SE/Plugins/version-1-10-984-0.bin". I tried uninstalling the file but it just says the same thing. I need help, please, another settlement needs my help.

Then you need to manually delete everything that FOLON installed, delete your existing F4SE and reinstall both the game fully without mods to see if it works correctly AND update F4SE to the CORRECT version of the game.

F4SE for FOLON is .163, not the current next gen game version. Anything you installed for FOLON needs to be removed entirely and checked for compatibility before you even try starting to mod your updated game.

The easiest thing to do is to uninstall the game.

Then navigate to the Steamapps directory and delete the fallout4 folder there. Then navigate to your "documents\my saves\ folder and delete the fallout 4 folder there as well.

Restart the computer, then re-install fallout 4.

This ensures you have no loose files or scripts floating around to mess with your new install.

okay, so I had to install Buffout 4 for Fallout London. It says I can't launch that game because it can't load the files for Buffout 4. Even though I deleted it, it keeps reinstalling every time I try to launch the game. I installed the latest version of f4se through Gamepressure as well

"through gamepressure" what is that? The only legitimate source of F4SE is either on Silverlock itself, or on its Nexusmods page.

Are you playing the game on a non-PC OS?

Gamepressure is a modding website, it had an updated version of f4se

I downloaded the updated f4se file through Nexusmods, I replaced my currect f4se with it. But I feel like the problem is this Buffout 4 mod. It says Im unable to launch the game because it couldn't load Buffout 4, even though I uninstalled it, it keeps reapearing in my Fallout 4 files after I try to launch the game

if your game needs buffout4, don't know why then you can install next gen vezrsion of buffout4, but you probably didn't clean all lose files when uninstalling. tjhat's why it asks you again buffout4.

but it has many requirements, clic on required mods in the main page of the mod. and install what you can. ( don't install old gen buffout4 )

Two files named "Buffout4" and "xSE PluginPreloader" are the ones that keep reappearing

I was just looking in my regular files, and not my steam local files. I just purged anything remotely British or Buffout 4 in my files and it worked.

xSE PluginPreloader is a required mod for buffout4.

install xSE PluginPreloader

That worked because buffout 4 is different for FOLON and the NGUpdated games... so if you were running Folon... and didn't update *everything that needs updating*, of course it'd be broken.
