Fallout's environment is anything but normal.
There are trade caravans that travel the commonwealth and beyond, (its how you get McReady's serum to his Son)... but we have no idea what they are carrying beside common junk items.
BOS, institute, and Gunners don't strike me as trading for goods, more like just taking what they want. (again, look at the quests we get from the Brotherhood... you TAKE the food... you don't negotiate a price. you CAN buy the food, but the reward for the quest is 1/3 the cost of buying the supplies, indicating its NOT the preferred outcome by Bethesda)
Gunners are know to hire out their services to traders, they have to meet them somewhere, so the towns make sense...
I skip all the faction quests... just cause I have no interest in them and couldn't care less about "finishing" the game.. and am more then happy to wile away a hundred hours on a settlement concept then "play" the game....
Couriers like in fallout nv exist, one would think they would also be found elsewhere across the world. Getting information from one place to another has always relied on foot travel or later radio - but not everyone has a working understanding or parts for radio use.
Cant you use ballistic weave obtained from the railroad faction? or does it not work on that outfit?
Turn this game into a Kevin Costner Fallout: The Postman.
I rarely modify armor or weapons, it may very well be able to properly take ballistic weave. I'm just too lazy to do it :D
That's not how it works. just because it was a bank in the civilised industrial world doesn't make it still a bank in a post apocalypse. I'd say more but it would be a waste of time.
I do not understand this question.
Yes, they just travel and trade, etc, like anyone else. factions have their own 'banks'. Banks do not have to be an official building with `bank` written on the side. It could be as simple as a small closest with a stash of cash and one guy who counts and distributes it.
Yes they probably could and probably do visit those places as long as they don't cause trouble.
I don't skip any missions, unless a game path choice takes me away from it (I have no idea how the Railroad missions go cos I never support the Railroad)but some I do delay, like the main quest.
I like the Dima tapes mission, it actually has a person using his brain a little. The fact that so many people hate it just goes to show how little FO4 taxes the brain at default, which is sad, cos it's not a hard puzzle.
Trust me bro
